Ram refreshed the 1500 for 2025, giving it larger touchscreens and an all-new trim. Performance and Capability
Ram discontinued the Ram 1500's previously available Hemi V8 engine and replaced it with two new twin-turbocharged inline-six options for 2025, including a 420-horsepower motor and a 540-horsepower engine. People in Madison will appreciate that these new engines deliver smooth, robust power with almost no turbo lag. The 2024 Ram 1500 still offers a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that makes 702 horsepower, but only in TRX trims. Its other engines include a 305-horsepower V6 and a 395-horsepower V8.
While the 2024 Ram 1500 could tow up to 12,750 pounds when properly equipped, the 2025 Ram 1500 maxes out at 11,560 pounds. Both versions can still haul a payload of up to 2,300 pounds with the right configuration. The 2024 Ram 1500 TRX trim was dropped from the lineup, but a new off-road-focused RHO model has a specialized Bilstein suspension, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and up to 11.8 inches of ground clearance for vigorous off-road adventures near Madison.
Exterior and Interior Design
The 2025 Ram 1500 has a revised front fascia with cleaner lines and a more modern appearance. Its sleeker grille has vertical stacks that fill out its wider shape. Madison drivers will like the 1500's thinner headlights, which curve around the fenders and wrap around the sides. New lighting elements, wheel designs, and a freshened color palette complete the 1500's exterior revisions.
The 2025 Ram 1500 still has the upscale cabin materials you've always loved, but it's now available with quilted leather upholstery. Our Madison customers will appreciate the optional massaging front seats in 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten trims.

Technology
The 2024 Ram 1500 came standard with a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, but you could upgrade to an 8.4-inch or a 12-inch display. The 2025 Ram 1500 comes standard with an 8.4-inch display. Madison drivers will like its available 14.5-inch center touchscreen and 23-speaker Klipsch stereo system.
Safety
The only standard safety features in the 2024 Ram 1500 are a rearview camera and trailer sway damping. Cautious people in Madison will appreciate that the 2025 Ram 1500 comes with both of those features, but also has adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning as standard driver aids.
